Manifesto
My personal manifesto and plan for the future.
Hakan Özkale
Hello there, and welcome to the first blog post on my website.
Without further ado, let's get to the core of this manifesto. My vision when I first published this site remains the same as my goal today—to share my work, projects, and thoughts.
Along the process, different products, designs, and ideas came up. Some were discarded, some came to fruition, but ultimately, they are all in the past. Now, by updating my website, I am checking off one of the steps in my mind.
So, what will I be doing here?
As mentioned above, I want this to be a space where I share my work and projects, a place where I can see myself when I look at it. I don't have a single plan in mind, like “I'm only going to do this.” As someone who has been interested in technology since childhood, chose to study computer engineering, has worked on and continues to work on different technologies, and has put a lot of effort into front-end development for a long time, I can say that this will be a unique space where I simply do what I feel I need to do as I live my life.
I plan for it to be a space where I sometimes share work as a design engineer, combining design and functionality; sometimes as a software developer; sometimes from a designer's perspective; and sometimes discussing entrepreneurship. It will be a place where I can occasionally share updates from my life, write what comes from within me, and let my stream of thoughts come to light.
It will be a space with boundaries neither too broad nor too narrow—a space that I will shape myself.
I’ve put the play dough on the table and started kneading it — or should I say, I’ve prepared the 3D printer filaments? :)
This process is not a job, a project, or an obligation for me—it's a journey. With every step, I will be learning, creating, and sharing.
Before I finish writing, if there is one thing I can say for sure, it is that the essence of this place will never change, it will never stop, and it will always move forward.
